Q:	Who is SmartGage.net?
SmartGage is a professional service for hosting of measurement data on a webserver SmartGage is for dataloggers GSV-4GPRS, but is open to other devices as well SmartGage.net uses the same platform as the free service OpenSmartCam, but offers more storage capacity and installation on two servers for highest availability OpenSmartCam is an OpenSource project, supported by Robert Bremsat and Holger Kabelitz. Q:	How to connect via FTP?
You find your FTP -username and your FTP -password at "Account" at the bottom of the page. FTP account is available only for certain tarifs more information at ftp-setup Link
Q:	Why upload of images has stopped?
You can limit the size for images at "Setup". Standard size for images is 200MB. Or your allowed limits are exceeded: According to your account 50MB (free), 200MB (1,90€), 1GB (3,90€) or 5GB (8,90€) are possible. At 90% an email is sent to you. With 50MB you should be able to store the least 3 days with an upload of one image every 15 minutes. Goto change-settings or view-settings and apply a command: days = 3; Default setting is 7 days of storage. Or: upgrade your account... Link
Q:	When status information is updated?

Q:	How can i delete my pictures?
Actually you can delete your complete webcam-folder: -->Login -->Change settings --> "delete" then you can add a new webcam-folder / the same webcam-folder; Deleting selected images is not yet implemented with standard gallery, but with basic gallery; change to basic gallery with command "format=0" Link
Q:	What about contract period / cancellation?
There is no cancellation necessary. If you upgrade your account with paypal, the contract is effective up to the defined expiration date and will end afterwards. You get an email one week before the service expires. If you want to order more than 3 months, please repeat the order procedure, or order with webshop, or contact us... Link
Q:	Something is wrong with data format?
The files are stored on a linux server. To convert between file formats, the best way is to use a ftp client in "ascii-" or "auto-" mode. This will convert the file format during download Tip: Install AddOn FireFTP; Right click on files or folders you want to download. Select "open link in fireFTP" Don't forget to set "auto" mode in settings of fireFTP. Link
